PRESS RELEASE: Immersive Wine Tasting Experience Coming to East Austin

AUSTIN, TEXAS - Blurred Vines is a new tasting room and wine club opening in Austin this November. The by-appointment-only tasting room at 901 E. 7th Street will provide an opportunity for guests to sample and learn about great wine in a fun and relaxing atmosphere.

Blurred Vines offers entertaining, sommelier-hosted tasting experiences designed to educate and delight. The tasting room will serve wines that are high quality, undiscovered gems from small producers with unique stories to tell. Wine will primarily be sourced from the great wine making regions of California, Oregon, and Washington, with an occasional bottle from other parts of the world.

Much like the undiscovered wines being served, the club’s location is hidden in trendy East Austin. The space encompasses classic speakeasy-inspired decor to encourage customers to explore new wines in an intimate atmosphere. Guests will be able to reserve a single seat at a shared tasting, a private tasting for eight guests, or the entire space for private events.

The concept is led by the experienced hospitality team of Cortney Lebens, Bill Poston, and Malon Lemoins. The three wine lovers bring a diverse set of experiences to the new venture. Lebens is the Co-founder and CEO of both Muy’Ono Resorts, the largest resort management company in Belize, and Delicious Digital Marketing, a marketing agency serving clients in the travel, lifestyle, and leisure industries. Her business partner, Poston, is the Chairman of Muy’Ono Resorts, and Founder and CEO of The Launch Box, a platform for entrepreneurial ventures. Lemoins is a professional level two sommelier and wine consultant with over 25 years in the hospitality business. Lemoins will run the operation including winery relations, sourcing, tasting experiences, and club member services.

Blurred Vines will be hosting a grand opening party on November 12 and will be sharing RSVP details on social media. Tasting reservations starting November 13 and details of the wine club and subscriptions are available on the company’s website, blurred-vines.com.
